Integrated Technology Supporting the Future of Arena Experiences

Today's sports and entertainment destinations depend on technology that enables teams to communicate, collaborate, and operate seamlessly behind the scenes. As part of Monumental Sports & Entertainment's transformation of Capital One Arena and its surrounding environments, dbe systems delivered integrated workplace technology solutions supporting executive workplaces, team environments, premium hospitality spaces, and gameday operations.

Working alongside Monumental Sports & Entertainment, Gensler, Architecture Incorporated, and dancker, dbe systems integrated technology solutions designed to support communication, coaching workflows, collaboration, and operational coordination across The Lofts, Galleria Place, and Capital One Arena.

The Challenge: Reliable Experiences across Offices, Coaching Rooms + Hospitality Spaces

The transformation required technology solutions capable of supporting a wide range of environments, from executive offices and conference rooms to coaching spaces, hospitality destinations, and operational areas within one of Washington, D.C.'s most iconic sports and entertainment venues. These spaces needed to deliver consistent, reliable experiences while supporting the evolving needs of employees, athletes, partners, and venue operators.

The Solution: Connected Spaces from the Boardroom to the Video Coaching Room

dbe systems delivered more than $3 million in workplace technology, integrating audio, digital signage, collaboration, and display solutions throughout the project. The scope included outfitting more than 20 conference and multipurpose rooms, an executive boardroom, Draft Strategy Room, and NBA and NHL video coaching rooms, creating connected environments designed to support communication, decision-making, and day-to-day operations.

The Result: A Technology Ecosystem that Keeps the Arena Running at its Best

The completed technology ecosystem helps power collaboration and operational excellence across Capital One Arena and its surrounding environments. By integrating technology as a seamless part of the overall experience, dbe systems helped create high-performance spaces that support employees, athletes, partners, and fans alike while contributing to the future of the arena experience.

Working alongside Selective Insurance, Mancini Duffy, dancker, and Locus Studio, dbe systems integrated workplace technology solutions designed to support both daily operations and connected meeting experiences throughout the facility.
